Target: Will Now Accept ALL Manufacturer Coupon Including Catalinas

Target will accept ANY Manufacturer Coupon, including Catalinas (CATs), according to this instruction sheet for cashiers.  This includes Walgreens Register Rewards, Albertsons CATs, etc. as long as it states “manufacturer coupon” on it.

Note: A memo should’ve gone out to the stores (confirmed by Vicki at the Everett store), but print it out and take it with you just in case!

    This is AWESOME! Wondering why they would take RRs from Walgreens though since they say redeem “only” at Walgreens. Will Target get reimbursed? I know they’re manufacturers coupons, but even my local grocer stopped taking RRs because of the “only” wording.

    But if Target wants to take them, I’m happy with that! lol

    not sure about the RR….it says if it sells the “item” on the coupon….RR dont specify a particular “item”….so i wonder if this will work…id LOVE for it to:)

      I tried at a Target store in Portland. They had not recieved a memo and I hadn’t printed the page. They looked up the link through this site and said they would try. The register reward scanned but the computer required her to confirm that I purchased this item. The manager went ahead and confirmed. Super nice of her seeing as she wasn’t even sure of reimbursement. Just a side note, I tried with 1 $9 register reward, I asked in advance of shopping and didn’t push for all $60 worth of register rewards I had in my pocket. She was willing to take a $9 loss to see if worked and I appreciated her effort.

    I’m still having issues getting any target to accept wags register rewards. Pulblix took a bunch with no issues, but every wags one scans “item not found”. I showed them the .pdf but it didn’t really help. Any suggestions?

      that’s because the manufacturer’s coupon from the register rewards isn’t the same as the one on the product. the coupon itself is coded as a 992 due to the nature of how it’s “earned” and redeemed–this is why it works at walgreens, fred meyer, etc. and why it errors “item not found” at target. you can explain this to them by taking other 992s to show them this. :D
